What is WWAMI's EduMed Program?

WWAMI's EduMed is a program that is managed and supported primarily by volunteer medical students of the WWAMI Medical Program and pre-professional students of University of Idaho and Washington State University. The primary objectives of EduMed are to serve & improve the health of the surrounding community by:

1. Educating youth about health risks specific to their age group
2. Educating youth about the services available to them to improve their health.
3. Helping youth feel more comfortable about visiting healthcare professionals and utilizing their services.
4. Educating youth about the opportunities available in a healthcare profession
5. Providing an opportunity for future healthcare providers to serve the community and share knowledge and skills.
